Inauguration of the Kutch Rajaswa Gallery at Kandla Custom House
Shri Yogendra Garg, Member, along with Shri Pranesh Pathak, Chief Commissioner, inaugurated the Kutch Rajaswa Gallery at the Kandla Customs House. The event marked a significant step in celebrating the cultural richness and regional identity of Kutch.
This initiative reflects a harmonious blend of administrative function and cultural pride, demonstrating how government spaces can also serve as platforms for promoting heritage and community engagement. Among the standout features are depictions of wildlife, sea trade motifs, and ancient artisanal techniques, all presented with aesthetic elegance.
Adding to the symbolism of growth and sustainability, a sapling was also planted during the ceremony, reinforcing the Customs Department’s commitment not only to service and compliance but also to environmental and cultural stewardship. The Kutch Rajaswa Gallery is not just a tribute to the land and its people but also a meaningful bridge between governance and grassroots creativity.
